Linise Gordon
Linise Gordon is a Graduate of Ball State University with a BS in Business Administration. She competed for four years on the track and field team and was the team captain. She has many accomplishments as a collegiate runner including 2000 outdoor NCAA 400m hurdles All American, 2000 indoor/outdoor NCAA triple jump provisional qualifier, and 2001 outdoor NCAA 400m hurdles provisional qualifier.
Once out of college Linise continued to run track professionally and competed nationally, earning such accolades as:
2001 outdoor US Nationals qualifier
2002 8th place finish outdoors US Nationals 400m hurdles
2003 5th place finish indoors US Nationals pentathlon
2003 14th place finish outdoors US Nationals heptathlon
2003 Drake Relays heptathlon champion.
She was a member of the Indiana Invaders Track and Field Club from 2001 – 2006. She was an assistant track and field coach at Pike High School from 2006 – 2008 and a track and field coach with Indy’s Racing Cheetahs from 2005 – 2009. She is currently a fire fighter with Wayne Township Fire Department.
