At Invictus Sports we provide a fun, safe, and healthy way for juvenile athletes to develop their core strength and agility.  Athletes of all ability levels can participate in the training.
The Invictus training program revolves around core knowledge of how the body develops and how it moves.  We have adapted and refined this knowledge to develop sport-specific agility and strength drills.  Although not designed to improve specific skills (such as shooting free throws or kicking field goals), the drills enhance and strengthen sports-related movements and techniques.  Skill requirements for specific sports are incorporated into tailored drills that assist the athlete’s individual improvement as a member of a team sport.

What We Don’t Do

We don’t teach basketball, football, soccer, or other sports skills.   Your coach does that…and does it well.  What we will do is enhance the natural athletic skill with drills that strengthen sports-related proficiency.

Typical sports skills programs offer a one dimensional focus – to the detriment of the overall student athlete.  In addition, injuries often result because of over-training in the sport. Parents looking for ways to improve their student-athlete’s fitness have limited choices.  There are very few, if any, balanced programs structured for the whole athlete.  Until now…

Quick, efficient, and coordinated movements are what give an athlete their competitive edge, making sport-related skills appear “effortless.”  Muscle strength and muscle memory are the foundations for this seemingly intuitive skill, yet this is rarely addressed in sports skills programs.  Developing the correct form for these movements allows student athletes to be faster, react quicker, and become more agile.

The Invictus Sports fitness program is centered on the growth and developmental stages of student athletes.  Each workout is designed with age-specific conditioning techniques and drills that enhance and strengthen sports‐related movements.
